Our Working Groups

Image

Our working groups are a central aspect of the organisation's activities. Here, systems engineering is developed in a practical and interdisciplinary manner – from methods and tools to new fields of application. The results are incorporated into conferences, publications, and white papers and are available for review and download in our source collection.

Certification

With SE-ZERT certification, you can qualify as a Certified Systems Engineer. Our accredited training providers will prepare you specifically for the exam.

There are four levels: D, C, B, and A.

  • Level D is reserved for students and can only be obtained as part of accredited degree programs or seminars.
  • For the higher levels, professional experience in systems engineering is required, depending on the level. Details can be found on the SE-ZERT Website.

What makes it special is that the certification combines theoretical knowledge with your practical experience. It therefore not only demonstrates your knowledge, but also its application in everyday working life – a visible proof of quality and a real plus for your career.

Network

GfSE thrives on exchange – and offers you numerous opportunities to network with other systems engineering experts.

Whether in our working groups, at events such as systems.camps, the Day of Systems Engineering (TdSE®), the workshop, or regional get-togethers, you will meet like-minded people, share experiences, and develop new ideas together.

In addition, our LinkedIn page offers the latest information and a space for discussion.

With the Young Professionals Network, we support newcomers to the community, while the EmpowerHER women's network meeting specifically promotes women in systems engineering.

In this way, we create connections that advance your professional development and enrich your personal life.

All relevant links can be found on the Network page.

Do you have any questions or other concerns? Write to our office or give us a call.

Access to the GfSE and INCOSE member area is different.

GfSE:

You should have received a “Welcome Letter” from GfSE when you registered. In this letter you will find all the information you need to register in the members' area.

INCOSE:

You should have received the access data from INCOSE. If not, there is a pragmatic solution. At INCOSE you have your own e-mail address with the ending @incose.org, which will be forwarded to your specified e-mail address.

The user for the INCOSE Connect area with all information and working groups is the beginning of this e-mail address. You can use it to log in and enter an incorrect password. You will then be redirected to a new page where you can reset the password. This will be forwarded to you again via the member e-mail address.
