Systemdenken für alle

The challenges of our time are becoming increasingly complex. In order to understand systems - from social to technical - systems thinking is essential. Concepts and methods of systems thinking are necessary in order to find the best solution.
The working group is convinced that systems thinking can help to understand and deal with the complexity of everyday life. That is why we want to make the ideas and concepts of systems engineering and systems thinking available to the general public. We want to demonstrate a uniform understanding of systems thinking from the perspective of different systems. Our stakeholders include trainees and students, the voluntary sector and politicians, with whom we want to actively engage in social discourse.
The group was re-formed in September 2024 and is currently working on bringing the previous content and new ideas into the desired format. Publication of the initial results via social media is planned for the course of 2025.
Current Goals

The aim is to prepare the theory in the form of short publications for the general public and to deepen it with short examples from everyday life. We want to make this content available via social media (e.g. LinkedIn).
The working group meets regularly to work on mutual topics. We want to create an open exchange on the principles of systems engineering and encourage an exchange of literature.
Another goal is to organize workshops on the principles of systems engineering within the GfSE and at universities and schools.
