Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is becoming increasingly relevant and is being used in more and more companies. However, there are differences in the approach and implementation between companies. In this working group, we exchange experiences in order to identify best practices and benefit from each other.
Our key questions are: 'How do we define systems engineering?' and 'What does MBSE mean for your company?
As SysML has established itself as the de facto standard for MBSE, we are analyzing the developments of SysML v2 in detail. In addition, we work together on a modeling project with SysML v2 to gain a deeper understanding of the new version.
Current Goals

We want to jointly explore the latest developments and trends in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). The focus is on identifying new methods and best practices that drive progress in this area. Through regular exchange, we stay at the cutting edge of knowledge and technology.
Our aim is to gain a sound understanding of the new version of SysML and to explore its possible applications in practice. By working together on concrete modeling projects, we deepen our knowledge of the use of SysML v2 and develop practical skills. This enables us to efficiently utilize the advantages of the new version in our own projects.
